This fall, Triton’s Engineering Technology Department will, for the first time, offer a Degree in Mechatronics. This is a forward-looking manufacturing degree that will provide students with: experience and knowledge of advanced drafting and design principles using 2D and 3D CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) systems; a solid understanding of Lean principles; the ability to operate intricate measurement devices for Quality Assurance of engineered products; and the ability to understand, operate and troubleshoot diverse complex mechanical systems. This degree requires a total of 66-67 credit hours.
