October 3 is Manufacturing Day, where the nation will celebrate all that is good in the world of, you guessed it, manufacturing. Prairie State College in Chicago Heights is so eager about the occasion, they will be celebrating a day early by hosting an event on October 2. Be sure to mark your calendar to take advantage of this very exciting and informative event.

• Talk to local manufacturers about career opportunities
• Learn about new technologies and equipment in advanced manufacturing
• Speak with INAM (Illinois Network for Advanced Manufacturing) representatives about educational and certification programs to train for entry into this growing industry
• And much more

The event will take place October 2, from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm in the Prairie Center (located in the Tech Wing on the main campus). A complimentary lunch will be served at 11:30 am (while supplies last).
