The FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Competition is a national robotics competition for grades 9-12. The event provides an excellent opportunity for teams to design and build robots alongside professional engineers using high-end software. Winners will qualify for scholarships.

Proviso Math and Science Academy’s Team 2151, out of Forest Park, IL, will participate in what will be their 9th FIRST Competition. The team will be supported by Triton College faculty, students, and resources.

The event will take place at UIC Pavilion from April 1-4, 2015.
