Learn about what some schools, even at the high school level, are doing to provide training for advanced manufacturing. Students from a variety of backgrounds, both locally and nationally, are taking advantage of classes which are designed specifically to provide training to begin rewarding careers in manufacturing. In many cases, leading manufacturers are involved in creating the curricula, and those manufacturers are also ready and willing to provide apprenticeships and employment after completion of the courses. Gone are the days of the loud, harsh, gritty, repetitive manufacturing environment. The new face of manufacturing is highly skilled, clean, bright, and rewarding.
