Illinois Valley Community College is offering seven $1,500 scholarships to those interested in studying for careers as Certified Production Technicians. Various local manufacturers are offering further incentives through signing bonuses to those achieving certification and gaining employment at their organizations. Financial aid is also available.

Applications will be reviewed starting Nov 19 and will continue until the scholarships are awarded. The program starts on Jan 12, 2015.
