Barry Callebaut Group, the word’s leading manufacturer of high quality chocolate, will lease space in the manufacturing facility and acquire the manufacturing assets of World’s Finest Chocolate in Chicago. This is to establish a new manufacturing base and stronger footprint in the midwest. Deliveries from the new manufacturing base will begin on March 1. Barry Callebaut also operates 11 other factories in the US. The new factory is slated to produce 25,000 tonnes of chocolate per year. World’s Finest Chocolate will continue to provide its product, which will be supplied by Barry Callebaut from the Chicago facility.
