There are many opportunities in advanced manufacturing for skilled workers. Harper College will host the 2015 Manufacturer Summit which brings together top industry experts to discuss these opportunities as well as the state of the industry. Presented by the Schaumburg Business Association, this event will feature a panel of experts in the fields of education, economics, manufacturing, and human resources. Panel members include: Terry Iverson, Founder of www.championnow.org; Melissa MacGregor, Director of the TAACCCT Grant Office; Michelle Mabry, student in Harper’s Advanced Manufacturing Program; Michael Alagna, President of Alagna Consulting; Kurt J. Rankin, Assistant Vice President and Economist for the PNC Financial Services Group; Larry Hauck, President and General Manager of PM Mold Company; Kent Beernink, VP Manufacturing at Gonnella Frozen Products; and Nicole Martin, CEO of HRBoost.
