Pinnacle Foods is expanding its St. Elmo manufacturing plant, with $50 million in new equipment, expanded floorspace, and improved infrastructure. The expansion will add 90 more jobs in the first half of 2015. This is in order to add the production of Wish-Bone salad dressings at the facility. The St. Elmo site was chosen for the expansion due to its geographic location and proven expertise in liquid filling and processing. Support was given through grants and assistance from the State of Illinois, the City of St. Elmo, and Fayette County.
