EIGERLab’s 2015 FastPitch event is coming to Rockford. This 9 year old event is structured in a similar style to ABC’s popular Shark Tank show, where people with an idea can pitch it to a group of investors. This event will take place on June 17 at 5 pm at NIU’s Rockford Campus. The event has an average of 48 participants per year and past winners have had the opportunity to see their ideas realized with help from participating local companies. There is also a chance to win some helpful start-up money. So if you live in the Rockford area and have a great idea, start getting your presentation together so you too might hear those great words: “I am in!”
