Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) has recently achieved the Gold Standard for Environmental Efficiency from the US Green Building Council for its Peter Miller Community Technology Center. The center is an 80,000 square foot facility that houses the college’s enrollment, career and technical programs. It was noted for its sustainable design, including its ability to control lighting, heating, cooling and more.
