Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce has just announced the launch of the Quad Cities Manufacturing Innovation Hub. The organization exists to create a network for small to medium organizations and manufacturers to share resources, help the region grow, diversify and remain competitive in the changing global marketplace. The group will connect 900 area manufacturing organizations to 16 federally designated manufacturing centers. Curt Burnett, Hub Executive Director said, “There is great change happening on the factory floor all over the globe … at the end of the day, there will be winners and losers, and it is the role of the innovation hub to make sure our region is a winner.”
