Triton College recently hosted a GADgET (Girls Adventuring in Design Engineering and Technology) Camp to teach girls about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This article tells about the experience of two local girls who attended the event. They learned to design and build their own products, used tools, toured manufacturing facilities, and listened to guest speakers.
