The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) recently awarded Richard J. Daley College with $25,000 to be used towards scholarships for students interested in pursuing an education in manufacturing. The college’s program offers training in computer-integrated manufacturing, robotics, and factory automation. Dr. Jose Aybar, Daley College President, said “this gift will help us continue to provide our students with quality manufacturing technology programs to prepare them to seize the 14,000 jobs coming to the Chicago region in advanced manufacturing over the next decade.”
