Illinois has always been a prime hub for manufacturing due to its central location, transportation, and infrastructure. There is a lot of growth currently happening in the suburbs. Major manufacturers in Schaumburg are building new facilities and creating new jobs. Elk Grove Village, one of the prime industrial parks in the country, is providing tax incentives to attract businesses and investing millions towards the upkeep, modernization, and expansion of the area. Other companies are taking on more space in larger buildings, opening showrooms, and much more. Contributing to this growth is an improved economy, development of educational opportunities in the field, and reshoring.
