Assistant Secretary for the US Department of Education Johan Uvin recently visited Elgin Community College (ECC). The visit focused on ECC’s Accelerating Opportunity Programs for welding, computer numerical control (CNC) operation, computer integrated manufacturing (CIM), integrated systems maintenance technology (IST), and other career-based programs.
