Southwestern Illinois College recently hosted a successful event on MFG Day. Over 500 local high school students attended from 16 area schools. Students visited company exhibitor booths, toured the college’s manufacturing labs and 11 local manufacturing facilities, and met with industry professionals and faculty. State Representative Daniel V. Beiser attended the event, as did the Executive Directors of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce and Local Workforce Investment Board.
