NIMS (The National Institute for Metalworking Skills) has announced a new initiative that is designed to provide improved and focused skills, training, and talent development in manufacturing. The initiative will help to define career paths, promote credentials, build skills, and provide the industry with a talented workforce to fill the skills gap. The initiative was developed in partnership with National Network of Business and Industry Associations, and with funding from Lumina Foundation and the Joyce Foundation.
