The event is presented by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services. Topics will include information on how businesses can register with the state to access contract opportunities, certification programs, and procurement. Harriet Parker, Manager of the SBDC at Waubonsee, said, “the state buys products and services of all types, and a lot of small businesses are not aware there are opportunities for them to become a vendor and supply their products or services to the state.”
