Patrick A. asks…

Q: How much math do I need to go into CNC machining?

A: You need a good, working knowledge of basic math skills including arithmetic, some geometry, and right triangle trigonometry. Sign up for a Basic Technical or Shop math course and that should be all that you need. But make no mistake about this: to be successful you need to be proficient in this course. Get an “A” and you’ll be on a path to a rewarding career.
