Q: Are there any paid internships in CNC Machining?

A: There certainly are. In fact, I haven’t run across any internships, apprenticeships or co-op opportunities in machining or welding that aren’t paid. Most manufacturers are tripping over themselves enticing students or freshly-minted grads to join their firms. And many offer tuition reimbursement to students taking courses after work. Figure it this way: the more you educate yourself, the more value you give to the employer and the more that employer will pay for it.
