Established in 1946, Southwestern Illinois College serves nearly 25,000 students annually at three campuses in Belleville, Granite City and Red Bud and numerous off-campus sites, including Scott Air Force Base and the East St. Louis Community College Center. The affordable, veteran-friendly college offers traditional, hands-on, online and accelerated courses in more than 150 associate degree and certificate programs including liberal arts, business, math and sciences, health sciences and technical education.
