Unemployment in Illinois, at 7.9%, is now at the lowest point in five years. To announce the numbers, and to discuss “Illinois’ comeback”, Governor Quinn visited local manufacturer, United Gasket Corporation. The Cicero company, which manufactures custom die cut parts for automobiles, has experienced growth over the last three years and is expanding into markets in Mexico and China. The Governor discussed his commitment to expanding small businesses like United Gasket Corporation in Illinois.
