Governor Pat Quinn visited Wheatland Tube, an industry-leading local manufacturer of steel pipes, tubes, and conduits, to announce that the Illinois unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since Aug 2008. According to Quinn, companies like Wheatland have been helping the overall economy by creating jobs at the local level and supporting the communities in which they operate.
