A $1.2 million state grant has been awarded to the Northern Illinois Workforce Alliance. This will be used to offer free training to over 100 people in several high-demand areas of manufacturing, including industrial machinery service, welding, repair, assembly, and more. The grant covers Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson, and DeKalb Counties.
