An index measuring manufacturing growth, produced by Marquette University’s Center for Supply Chain Management and the Institute of Supply Chain Management, shows that manufacturing for southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois is growing. The Purchasing Managers index was 53.25 (up from 50.32), indicating a growth in market conditions. New orders were 54.42 (up from 41.70). Employment was 46.14 (down from 58.13). As order continue to increase, unemployment numbers will go down.
