Industry 4.0 is the term representing the incorporation of sensors into the manufacturing process. A new McKinsey study discusses how Industry 4.0 will utilize newer technologies within manufacturing. Over the next 10 years, manufacturing facilities will incorporate more high-tech sensors and routers, 3D printers, Google Glass, and increased use of data science and analytics.
