The Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII) in Chicago has recently pledged $500,000 to the 1,000 Jobs for Chicagoland Manufacturing campaign. The money will help the campaign in its efforts to place workers in skilled manufacturing jobs by the end of 2016.
