The seventh annual Discover Manufacturing Career Expo recently took place at the Woodruff Career and Technical Center in Peoria. The event taught students about careers in manufacturing and opportunities that are available. Hundreds of high school students and eighth graders viewed demonstrations, met professionals, had hands-on experiences with welding, robotics, and a Caterpillar simulator and got the chance to tour the manufacturing facilities at Caterpillar and Parsons.
