On June 23, Waubonsee Community College will host its Waubonsee Vision 2050 Futures Summit. This free event invites the public to “anticipate, imagine, and elevate the college’s and community’s future.” The keynote will be delivered by business futurist, innovation thought leader and author, Nicolas J. Webb. Waubonsee President Dr. Christine Sobek stated, “with the face of education changing rapidly in light of technological advanced and students’ shifting wants and needs, we knew the time was right to engage in meaningful dialogue about what the future may hold for Waubonsee and its surrounding communities.”
